A Roundtable Discussion Featuring UD Faculty

Join the University of Delaware's European Studies program for a roundtable discussion -- "From Sisters to Citizens: The Struggle for the Franchise in Europe and the US" -- on Tuesday, November 12 from 5:30pm-7:00pm in 104 Gore Hall.
The roundtable will focus on the paths to suffrage and women's suffrage in Europe and the United States. Panelists will compare and contrast these pathways and draw transnational connections, showing the fragility of the franchise through the centuries.
Panelists include the following UD faculty from the Department of History:
- Anne Boylan
- James Brophy
- David Shearer
- Owen White
- Polly Zavadivker
A small reception will follow the roundtable. This event is part of the Our Vote teaching initiative across campus.
