Join the University of Delaware's European Studies program, the Department of History, the Department of Languages, Literatures and Cultures, the Department of Political Science and International Relations, and the Sister Cities of Wilmington for "Beyond the Berlin Wall: Remembrance and Responsibility." Four distinct events will take place from October 17 through November 7 commemorating the 30th anniversary of the fall of the Berlin Wall.

- "German Battles about Remembering the Berlin Wall: 1989-2019" - Lecture by Hope M. Harrison, Associate Professor of History and International Affairs, George Washington University
Thursday, October 24 - 7:00pm - Bayard Sharp Hall
- "Former GDR Citizens Remember November 9, 1989" - Panel Discussion
Sunday, October 27 - 7:00pm - Trabant Theater
- "Das schweigende Klassenzimmer (The Silent Revolution)" - Film screening as part of UD's International Film Series
Thursday, November 7 - 7:00pm - Bayard Sharp Hall
- "An Evening of GDR Art" - Music by Xiang Gao; Speaker Dr. Richard Zipser; Presentations by UD Students (co-sponsored by the Master Players Concert Series)
